Do I need a company number to verify my identity?
No. Identity verification is tied to you as a person, not to a company, so you can verify before your company exists. At checkout just tick "I'm forming a new company / I don't have a company number yet".
Why won't the usual route let me verify before incorporating?
The GOV.UK One Login flow generally expects an existing company, which is what trips people up before incorporation. As a Companies House Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP AP006589) we verify you directly — before your company is formed.
